Otto Depenheuer is presently Professor for public law and philosophy of law and director ot the Institut of philosophy of state and politics at the univerity of Cologne. After ending his musical education in the diocese of Limburg Depenheuer studied organ with Rosalinde Haas, Frankfurt, André Fleury and Jean Langlais, Paris. 1986 he got the "Diplome de Concert" in the classe of Marie-Louise Langlais-Jacquet  at the famous Schola Cantorum in Paris. Since 1975 corporate organist at the Cathedral and the St.Elisabeth-church in Bonn. Regularly Concerts in Germany and Europa (i.e. Notre-Dame de Paris, Dormitio in Jerusalem, Marktkirche in Halle/S., Christuskirche in Mannheim, Cathedral of Cologne, mainly at the cathedral and the St.Elisabeth-church in Bonn) and on the radio. Most important are his performace of the complete organ works of Carles-Marie Widor 1982/1983 and the cyclical performance of the 51 offices of „L’orgue mystique“ of Charles Tournemire 1996 – 1999. Besides of that Depenheuer is editor of numerous organ music (email@butz-verlag.de). Remarkable the first complete edition of the organ works of Camille Saint-Saens and the organ-sonatas of Gustav Merkel. Several Arrangements for organ, e.g. Puccini, Widor, Respighi and Fauré.
